Diverse Project Management Opportunities

We are seeking multiple professional civil and engineers to expand our capabilities in delivering major infrastructure projects across South Australia. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project management, works planning and program delivery
  • Driving cost, program, health and safety, environmental and quality outcomes
  • Building and fostering excellent working relationships with clients
  • Managing and developing project teams
  • Commercial and contractual management
  • Constructability, design management and methodology input into the tendering process
  • Mentoring and upskilling junior engineers

Ideal Candidates

We are seeking multiple civil infrastructure project management professionals with seven or more years of industry experience. Due to our projects being multi-tiered and multi-disciplined, we are wanting to complement our established team with Project Managers with a diverse range of skills, experience and capabilities.

A degree in civil engineering and a proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project are a must.

We seek hardworking, self-motivated Roofing Supervisors with proven experience and qualifications in the roofing and cladding industry.

Reporting to the Site Project Manager and Divisional Manager – Roofing & Cladding, main responsibilities will be to undertake roofing and cladding works and supervision, whilst adhering to site Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

A current Drivers Licence, White Card, Working at Heights card and previous experience working in the roofing and cladding industry is essential.

We seek an exceptional Graduate Civil Project Engineer to join our Civil / Remediation Division based at our Adelaide office.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors on multi-disciplined civil and remediation project sites to ensure high quality project delivery.

This opportunity will provide experience working on a range of civil construction projects including bulk and detailed earthworks, and large scale environmental remediation.

 

Key responsibilities include
  • To work closely with the Project Team in order to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services’ processes
  • Effective communication and building positive relationships with clients, project team and management
  • Assist with cost management including preparation of progress claims, variations and project budget control
  • Compliance with contract terms and conditions for project
  • Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work away as required
  • Undertake appropriate investigations, inspections, and methodology development
  • A team player with demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to cope with urgency, efficiently assign work priorities and work in a high pressure environment
  • Assist with construction program development and tracking project progress
  • Assist with the preparation and population of Quality Assurance documentation

 

Essential Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering

We seek experienced Asbestos / Hazardous Material Removal Labourers with proven history working on asbestos projects, to join our rapidly expanding national operations.

Reporting to the Site Project Manager and Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for the safe removal of asbestos and hazardous materials, which are undertaken ensuring stringent WHSEQ compliance.

To be successful you will:

  • Hold Class A or Class B Asbestos Removal Qualifications and construction industry White Card.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the asbestos / hazardous materials removal industry.
  • Provide National Police Clearance verification

The ability to work away may be required in this position.
