We seek an exceptional Civil Senior Project Manager to join our Civil / Remediation Division.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager of Civil Construction in Adelaide, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with Site Supervisors on civil project sites to ensure high quality project delivery including procurement, resource management, QA and contract administration requirements, cost control, program management, price variations and engage in business development to win future work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proven experience in Contract management and Contract administration;
  • Working closely with the Project Team in order to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services’ processes;
  • Preparation, completion and submission of ITP’s, project plans, document control and QA documentation;
  • Effective communication and building positive relationships with clients, project team and management;
  • Cost management including preparation of progress claims, variations and procurement;
  • Compliance with contract terms and conditions for project;
  • Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team;
  • Undertake appropriate investigations, inspections, engineering analysis;
  • A team player with demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • High level drive and ability to manage time and tasks for multiple projects;
  • Proficient abilities in Microsoft Office is essential, including MS Project.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the Project Managers on various small to large civil project sites to ensure high quality project delivery.

This opportunity will provide experience working on civil construction sites involving bulk earthworks, concrete structures, roads and park construction, underground services including stormwater, sewer, common service, water main and fire main projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Minimum of 5 years extensive Civil Site Supervisor experience in a similar role;
  • To provide supervision of civil sites, working closely with the Project Team in order to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services’ systems;
  • Ensure project is meeting program and resourced accordingly;
  • Supervision of site personnel and subcontractors;
  • Writing and reviewing JSA’s and Risk Assessments;
  • Ability to capture all site works into a detailed site diary;
  • Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team;
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbally;
  • Proactive attitude and a ‘lead by example’ motivator;
  • Flexibility to work interstate as required;
  • Proficient abilities in Microsoft Office is essential.

We are currently seeking a professional, driven and highly motivated person to fill the extremely important role of Tender Proposals Assistant based at our head office in Dry Creek SA.

On a day to day basis you will be working with the Manager – Tender Proposals, Senior Management and project teams on the production, coordination and submission of tenders, expressions of interest, proposals, pre-qualifications, reports and presentations. The role will see you working on a large volume of multi-disciplinary tenders submitted throughout Australia across many market sectors.

The successful candidate must be very organised with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, maintain and update internal documentation as required
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a shared tender library
  • Working with multiple tender teams to assist in the co-ordination of the tender process
  • Administration of tender proposals as required including schedule completion
  • Work under the direction of the Manager – Tender Proposals to drive the company bid process including updating and improving system procedures
  • Build and manage strong internal relationships
  • General administration tasks as required.

Key experience and skills required:

We are seeking a candidate with at least 2 years’ experience, including knowledge of:

  • Back flow Prevention and testing
  • Hot Water, TMV and Tempering systems
  • Civil pipe laying experience

Reporting to the Plumbing Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be executing plumbing works on project sites, ensuring high quality project delivery.

Key qualities that will you be successful in this role include:
