An exciting opportunity has become available for a Crane Operator/Rigger in our Adelaide based team.

About the role:

The role will play an important part in a small but professional crew in Adelaide, with a fleet made up of a 250T Kobelco, 200T Liebherr, 60T Tadano, 2x 25T FRANNAs and a 4.9T Kobelco crawler. Working within our team you will be tasked with operating and rigging on demolition projects to carry out complex, high-profile lifts that will challenge you to think outside the box. Our team also service our other divisions in construction, marine, scrap, asbestos removal and civil.

You will gain experience that is unique to this field while working alongside some of the best people in the industry. You will be responsible for keeping the equipment you operate clean and tidy, reporting faults, and performing small maintenance. All work will be conducted in accordance with McMahon Services expectations, with you upholding our safe work values, while striving for excellence.

To be successful in this role you must possess the following;

  • Demonstrated demolition experience
  • Minimum C6 licence (C1 & CO preferred)
  • Minimum basic riggers licence (intermediate preferred)
  • Work safely at heights certificate
  • Minimum HR drivers’ licence and WP license is desirable
  • Exceptional safety focus
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions from supervision, to work unsupervised as well as in a team
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and on-site random drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to work away and meet working hours as per project requirements
