Starting out as a small, family-owned business in 1990 with just 12 employees, we’re now one of Australia’s largest privately-owned construction companies.

Family Fun Day

Our annual Family Fun Day is dedicated to saying thank you to the families who work behind the scenes, supporting our team each and every day. This free event is open to all of our employees and their families.

It is a fun-filled day with amusement rides, entertainment, food trucks, and free gifts that the kids will love. As a family-run business, we aim to foster a family-first approach for all our staff.

Tenure Club

Many of our team members have been working with us for almost as long as we have been in business. We celebrate staff who have worked with us for 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, and even 40 years by inducting them into our Tenure Club.
At the annual Family Fun Day, new members of this club are awarded a commemorative certificate and luxury watch in front of their family and peers.

Staff Awards

Each quarter we award personnel who have been nominated by their peers for going above and beyond in their role, who demonstrates the company’s core values, excellence in all aspects of their role, or who have shone in a particular situation.

Our staff awards build morale within individuals and teams and are an excellent way to recognise our committed team members.

Paid Maternity Leave

McMahon Services is committed to being a leader in the gender and diversity space. In addition to the Australian Government’s paid maternity scheme, we offer our own Maternity Leave Policy. This provides our employees with an extra 12 weeks full pay or 24 weeks half pay.

We understand that returning to work after maternity leave can be a challenging time for our staff and we are committed to ensuring the transition is as easy as possible.

Employee Assistance Provider

McMahon Services is committed to providing our employees a safe and healthy work environment. We offer all our personnel and their immediate families access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program includes short-term counselling and mentoring to aid in their general and mental wellbeing.

We are always looking to the future and are dedicated to supporting the next generation of our business. Our R.I.S.E Graduate Program runs for two years and is a safe place for those at the beginning of their careers to learn new skills and grow into their ideal McMahon Services role.
