Project Managers – Asbestos / Hazardous Material Remediation, Adelaide

We seek exceptional asbestos / hazardous material remediation project managers with proven history delivering diverse asbestos and hazardous waste remediation projects, to join our rapidly expanding national operations.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Asbestos Services in Adelaide, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with site management /clients on remediation project sites ensuring high quality project delivery including QA and contract administration requirements, to estimate projects, price variations and engage in business development to secure work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with the project team in order to ensure compliance with client and McMahon Services processes
  • Ensure project is meeting program and resource management
  • Preparation, completion and submission of ITP’s, project plans, document control and QA documentation
  • WHSE management and compliance monitoring
  • Effective communication and building positive relationships with clients, project team and management
  • Commercial ability to manage, allocate finances and budget within the business and projects, Cost management including preparation of progress claims, variations and procurement
  • Compliance with contract terms and conditions for project
  • Implementation and compliance with the companies’ risk management procedures and processes
  • Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team

About you:

It would be an advantage to hold Class A or Class B Asbestos Removal Qualifications and a construction industry white card. Proven experience working as a Project Manager in the construction / asbestos, hazardous material removal industry would be highly regarded.

Must be able to comply with police check and alcohol & drug testing requirements.

You will be required to be mobile as our projects are based throughout both South Australia and interstate.
