McMahon Services were contracted by House Brothers to instate roofing and external wall cladding on a new science classroom for Gleeson College. The client and designers of the structure had high aesthetic expectations for the project.
The roofing component for this innovative and striking building required care and attention to ensure the integrity of original design was achieved. The structure was erected with all fittings and screws concealed, adding to the modern appearance of the building. The roofing sheets were 16.2 metres in length minimising the structural columns/walls. Metal profile and sheeting colour were constructed and imported from Brisbane specifically for the installation.
The McMahon Services’ team successfully coordinated with other tradesmen and staff to complete roofing whilst the school remained fully functional. The resulting structure is an impressive showcase of work for all involved.
