We are currently seeking an exceptional Site Supervisor to join our Western Australia team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the Project Managers on various small to large demolition and remediation project sites to ensure high quality project delivery.

This opportunity will provide experience working on a broad range of industries including mining, energy, oil and gas and government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide supervision of sites, working closely with the Project Team in order to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services’ processes
  • Ensure project is meeting program and resource management
  • Supervision of site personnel and subcontractors
  • Writing and reviewing JSA’s, Risk Assessments and site safety documentation
  • Ability to capture all site works into a detailed site diary
  • Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbally
  • Proactive attitude and a ‘lead by example’ motivator
  • Working closely with the project teams in order to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services’ processes

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years extensive Demolition or Remediation Site Supervisor experience in a similar role
  • Proficient abilities in Microsoft Office is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence in managing complex projects
  • Ability to grasp new concepts very quickly, be adaptable and flexible
  • Work in a wide range of environments from metropolitan sites to remote outback communities
  • Problem solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions
  • A team player with demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to cope with urgency, efficiency, assign work priorities and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to travel both intra- and interstate as required
  • Valid driver’s licence.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and have strong organisational / planning, verbal and written communication skills. You must also have the ability to follow directions and demonstrate innovative problem solving as an individual and as part of the team.
