Michael joined the Company in 2018 as General Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in delivering major civil works including concrete structures, road and bridge work across the rail, water, power, marine, resources and mining sectors.
Michael’s project delivery experience includes major transport infrastructure projects including the City Tramline Extension and Torrens Road to River Torrens Road Upgrade for the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure in SA, and the Fitzroy Region Damage Repair Works for the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland.
In addition, he brings significant knowledge in water infrastructure construction, with project delivery experience in dams and weirs, pipelines, pump stations, water treatment, wastewater treatment and construction over water and in marine terminals.
Michael’s previous experience also includes tendering and estimating for civil infrastructure projects valued over $100 million and has managed national teams of senior estimators, estimators, design managers, proposal writers, planners and bid managers.
As General Manager, Michael directs delivery teams across the Company, providing corporate governance and high-level oversight ensuring company and project objectives are met. Since joining the Company, Michael has been instrumental in moving the business forward into delivering high-value specialist concrete construction services, expanding the Company’s Client base, and strengthening the Company’s reputation in existing markets.
