Project Overview
McMahon Services were engaged by Kennett Builders to undertake this roofing and cladding project in the small seaside town of Port Elliot, South Australia.
A new multi-million dollar, state of the art aged care facility was recently built, with the facility offering a range of support services for older people. It can house up to 94 people, as well as offering four independent retirement living units on the site.
The project scope included the following:
- Supply and installation of 0.48 Colorbond Rev-Klip 700 roof sheeting;
- Supply and installation of custom edge profile gutters;
- Supply and installation of 100mm Colorbond downpipes with standoff brackets;
- Supply and installation of ventilation ridges;
- Supply and installation of 0.55 custom flashings to make roof watertight;
- Supply and installation of Aircell Insulbreak insulation to roof area;
- Supply and installation of medium density foil faced insulation blanket to roof area.
This project involved the production of custom gutters and cutting the custom gutters into mitres, as well as shaping the metal downpipes to fit the client design. The McMahon Services team delivered this project with high quality workmanship, showcasing their skills and abilities.
