The Building and Construction Services business unit delivers Commercial and Industrial plumbing projects for both our internal and external customers.

We seek an exceptional Plumber to join our Building and Construction business unit, with a proven history of being a competent plumber, who has the skills and experience to work autonomously in the commercial sector. Reporting to the Plumbing Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be executing plumbing works on project sites, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Location: Adelaide, SA

We are seeking a candidate with at least 2 years’ experience, including knowledge of:

  • Drain laying and under floors
  • Fire and Water services
  • Backflow Prevention and testing
  • Hot Water, TMV, and Tempering systems
  • Civil pipe laying experience.

 

Key qualities that will you be successful in this role include:

  • Ability to work closely with project team to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services’ processes
  • Ensuring works are meeting program and keeping supervisors informed
  • Able to take direction and work unsupervised
  • Safety focused and good communication skills
  • Ability to work away if required
  • Qualified plumber ticket required
  • Own tools and basics
  • Plumbing contractor’s license is desirable, but not necessary
  • Excavator. Bobcat, Working at Heights tickets an advantage.
