Chief Financial Officer
Joining McMahon Services in 2016, Jacob has overall responsibility for the finance and systems functions within the company including, banking, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, ASIC obligations, financial reporting, tax compliance, IT systems, knowledge management, and IT application implementation and project management.
Jacob holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Bachelor of Business, Management Information Systems from the University of South Australia as well as a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. He has 15 years of experience in financial and accounting roles both in Australia and the United Kingdom across the electrical, automation, construction and financial advisory market sectors. His experience has been in large and small companies (both public and private), as well as local governments including roles in councils and WorkCover SA.
Jacob drives continuous improvement across the company to achieve technical accuracy and the coordination of a process-driven finance and administration team with transparent communication.
As Chief Financial Officer, Jacob coordinates the Finance and Risk Advisory Board that meets on a monthly basis for the benefit of the directors and shareholders, as well as the Executive Committee Meetings which includes all members of the Executive across the organisation.
