McMahon Services recently completed the Pharmacy Redevelopment at the Women's and Children's Hospital, located directly off the hospital's main Kintore Avenue entrance. The works included the total refurbishment of the existing pharmacy / dispensary facility. Construction was coordinated with the dispensary's 10 hour working days to maintain continual functionality. The Kintore Avenue entrance was also kept in operation throughout the duration of the program with no disruption to the public.
The pharmacy redevelopment works included;
- Demolition of existing walls, fittings and fixtures
- New 'back of house' joinery
- New reception / serving counters
- Construction of new walls and ceilings
- Installation of new doors including BESAM security doors
- Laying of purpose ordered imported vinyl
- Partitioning throughout
- Relocation of existing storage / shelving
