  • McMahon Services have recently undertaken a significant carpentry works for Hansen Yuncken, as part of their PPP (Public Private Partnership) Schools Program.

    Following a detailed tender process, McMahon Services were awarded the carpentry package at both the Regency and Sports Park campus. Combined, these campuses required the supply and installation of over 500 doors and hardware, over 18 buildings.

    The works involved the manufacture and installation of various doors including acoustic, fire, metal clad, solid core and wet area doors, complete with overhead panels.

    Due to the site constraints there were minimal options for storage so ‚'just in time' principles were adopted for door and hardware deliveries to site.

    The project included close communication with the builder and other finishing trades to ensure the required door installations met the tight timeframes outlined and were coordinating with floor finishes, painting and other trade work.

    The client was pleased with the work and expanded the scope to encompass various other installations including;

    • Bumper railing
    • Shower curtains
    • Wet area sundry items
