DSA, Edinburgh Parks, Building EP11 - New Office Accommodation

AGSVA, Edinburgh Parks, Building EP3 - New Office Upgrade

The project aim was to provide additional office accommodation for new staff within Building EP11 and Building EP3 for the Defence Support Authority, South Australia (DSA-SA) and AGSVA SA. The upgrade of the office space involved physical and electronic security installations, and trenching/digging of 180 metres for communications to run from EP3 to EP11. New office furniture, electrical, lighting, mechanical, data & communications, and fire works, completed the project.

McMahon Services received praise for the timely completion of the project and high standard of work. Below is an excerpt from an email written by Brian Greeneklee, Manager Security Operations SA;

"I wanted to express my sincere appreciation and acknowledge the very good work undertaken to facilitate the move of my staff to refurbished office accommodation in Building EP11. To have achieved project completion within the very tight timeframe imposed to enable the establishment of the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency in Building EP3, brings credit to those involved and the thanks of the DSA. The accommodation within EP11 is, in my humble opinion, of a very high standard and I look forward to continuing our work in very pleasant surroundings indeed."

DSTO Building 24 - Security Upgrade

Perimeter security upgrade to a single 'strong room' within an occupied building including door, door frame and hardware replacement, and tamper resistant ceiling installation works.

DSTO Building 23 - Security Upgrade

Perimeter security upgrade works including door and door frame replacement, hardware upgrade, roof rescrewing and window security improvements.

RAAF / DSTO, Defence MARS sites, Woomera MARS sites - Fire Security Upgrade Works

McMahon Services were successful in winning the above three contracts let by Defence. Works included perimeter security improvements including door, door frame and door hardware replacements and upgrades for detection upgrades.

ASC RAN Building 4 - Security Upgrade

Full electronic security upgrade, including access control and physical installation works to the existing RAN Building 4, ground and first floors.

Defence HNA - Security Upgrade Works

Perimeter security upgrade works including door and door frame replacement, hardware upgrade, roof rescrewing, window security improvements, making secure openings to perimeters with steel bars and frame installations.
