Safety Focused Program
The Safety Focused Program was developed to help build and maintain a strong safety culture within our organisation.
The Program focuses on educating our staff about safe work procedures, with the aim of changing attitudes and behaviours towards safety in the workplace.
The Program utilises a mix of workshops, training materials and on-site mentors to reinforce our mission to develop a zero harm environment for our staff, key stakeholders and the wider community.
We encourage working together as a team, and communicating openly with one another. We believe that through teamwork, we can reduce injuries, and ultimately improve our safety performance.
We recognise that the involvement of managers in the safety management process is critical, particularly at the site manager and supervisor level. Our Safety Focused behavioural program is also aimed at developing skills in safety leadership and influencing attitudes and behaviours surrounding best safety practice.
By shifting the way we think about safety in the workplace, and continually assessing and improving our systems, we are demonstrating our strong commitment to safety and the importance placed on the welfare of our staff and the communities in which we work.
